FindFST Opens to Field Service Technicians and Companies in the United States

FindFST is open to the United States. A field service technician based in the US can now connect a Stripe payout account, apply to missions and be paid in US dollars. A company in the US can post a mission in dollars and book a technician directly, with no agency in between.

Until now, payouts on FindFST went only to bank accounts in Europe.

For technicians in the US

  • On the Verification tab of your profile, pick United States as your Stripe account country and connect your account
  • Stripe asks for the usual identity details, including the last four digits of your Social Security number, and the bank account your payouts go to
  • Until Stripe has verified you, you cannot see or apply to missions
  • On a mission priced in US dollars you are paid in dollars, and you keep 100% of your rate
  • On a mission in another currency, Stripe converts the payout to dollars, and its conversion fee comes out of the payout

For companies in the US

  • Post an on-site mission, a remote mission or shift cover, priced in US dollars
  • Approve a quote and pay by card, and the payment is held until the work is done
  • The platform fee is a flat 6% on top of the technician’s rate, 10% on a mission marked urgent

What stays the same

Mission Control, timesheets, mission reports and disputes work the same way as in Europe. The company and the technician deal with each other directly.
